Mosaic Studios is an artist-owned visual effects studio based in New York, formed by industry veterans to produce award-winning VFX in a boutique environment, owned and operated by the artists, producers, and developers who do the work. The studio was launched in just 10 days after a water main break destroyed the offices of Assembly VFX, prompting its artists to band together and start a new business. It is led by Dave Zeevalk, co-founder of Assembly's VFX division, and Luiz Garrido, VP of Technology. The studio puts technology and artistry on equal footing and has done effects work for prestige television series.
