Serious Grippage & Light Co. is widely regarded as New Mexico's premier grip and electric (G&E) rental house, serving the film and video industry since 1988. The company started in Santa Fe and expanded to Albuquerque in the mid-2000s, adding a warehouse, additional gear, and a full fleet of grip trucks. It maintains a fully functioning grip and electric inventory including dollies, 5-ton and 1-ton grip truck packages, HMI, tungsten, and Chimera lighting, plus cable, distro, generators, camera support, and expendables sales. The owners describe themselves as filmmakers first and serve the entire state from Las Cruces to Taos. The Albuquerque location is also a Mole-Richardson authorized dealer.
