Flyover Film Studios

Flyover Film Studios is a central Illinois studio established in 2022 on the grounds of the former Chanute Air Force Base in the Village of Rantoul. Formed by local filmmakers from Shatterglass Films, Dustin Hoke Services and The Line Film Company, it occupies about six acres under roof in a large half-barrel former aircraft hangar roughly four stories high, plus around 20,000 square feet of production offices and 100,000 square feet of support space. The studio hosts a range of projects from documentaries to music videos and has been credited with significant economic impact in the Champaign County region. It was named the Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce 2025 Business of the Year.
