Location package
What is a location package?
Also called location presentation, or scout package.
A location package is the presentation a locations team assembles for each candidate place: stills, panoramas, plans, sun paths, access notes, power availability, parking, restrictions, and cost.
It is what the director, production designer, and line producer actually decide from. A package that hides the parking problem wins the approval and loses the shoot day.

The package for each candidate carries wides from every approach, sun angles with times, access and turning space, power availability, parking, restrictions, and cost. The one that omits the parking problem is the one that wins approval and loses a day.
