Cinelease is the film industry's leading provider of lighting and grip equipment and possesses one of the largest lighting rental inventories in the US. Founded in 1977, it entered the New Mexico market in 2007 and operates a dedicated lighting and grip rental operation in Albuquerque, co-located with Cinelease Studios – Albuquerque. The lighting and grip rental arm, supplemented by Herc Entertainment Services for heavy equipment, supports major feature and streaming productions across the state, including Stranger Things and Unbroken.
