Where does the name Sliced Bread Animation come from? The name comes from an old joke between Christina and Jamie. Christina, being Austrian, didn’t follow the English expression “the best thing since sliced bread,” which made it a playful in-joke between the two of them. When they launched the company in 2002, they wanted something memorable, fun, and a bit unexpected and Sliced Bread stuck.
