Originator Studios is a creative video production company in Austin, Texas specializing in short-form commercials and web advertising, live event videography, live streaming, video branding, and narrative and documentary film. Founded by two University of Texas graduates, the company has been operating for over a decade and is located at 718 Northwestern Ave. Its facility includes a professionally soundproofed 800-square-foot, two-wall cyc soundstage with a motorized lighting grid, green room, makeup room and kitchen, available for video production, photography, live events and VR gaming. Originator also partnered with Moontower VFX to create Hybrid VR, developing branded VR, AR, and live web experiences for corporate clients.
