Sasani Studios

The Sasani Studios story is woven into the fabric of South African lives. If you’re a soapie fan, you’re sure to have followed the well-loved Egoli: Place of Gold, which was shot at Sasani Studios and first aired on 6 April 1991. Egoli ran for 18 years, from Sasani Studios. Other soapies shot at Sasani Studios include Rhythm City, Isidingo – The Need, Scandal! Skeem Saam, Diepe Waters, Smoke & Mirrors (all with custom-built studios), Sasani Studios has also been home to numerous series’ of Big Brother broadcast to multiple channels into Africa.
