Founded in 1994 by film producer Velvet Moraru, ICON Production is one of the first independent film companies in Romania. Having produced award-winning films like “The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu”, “Quod Erat Demonstrandum” and “Poppy Field”, ICON’s approach is to encourage both newcomer filmmakers and projects that have a social and political profile.
