The Brooklyn Navy Yard is a 300-acre city-owned industrial campus operated by the nonprofit Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC), which manages roughly 4.5 million square feet of leasable space across about 40 buildings with more than 300 tenants. Historically a naval shipbuilding facility, it is today a modern manufacturing and media hub and home to Steiner Studios, the largest film and TV production complex outside Hollywood.
