SouthField Studios is a soundstage created from a renovated former military hangar at the decommissioned South Weymouth Naval Air Station, roughly 12 miles south of Boston. Developer LStar Communities retrofitted the high-ceilinged hangar (with approximately 50-foot clearances) into a production studio after learning that major productions were interested in filming in the area.
