NOVAC (New Orleans Video Access Center) is a New Orleans nonprofit founded in 1972 dedicated to empowering storytellers and communities through digital media. Its work spans youth media training for ages 8 to 24, independent filmmaker support, film industry workforce development, video production, and video preservation, with a focus on expanding the Louisiana film industry. Programs include the Born Digital Youth Media Program, equipment rental and facility access, fiscal sponsorship, job referrals, indie filmmaker classes, and tape digitization and preservation services. It is one of the longest-running community media nonprofits in the U.S.
