Crafty Apes is a national visual-effects and post-production company that expanded to Louisiana, establishing its Baton Rouge operations at the Celtic Media Centre in January 2020. The studio hires local visual-effects specialists and has contributed VFX to films including Where the Crawdads Sing and Netflix's Home Team. Its Louisiana leadership grew from local talent, including artists who previously worked at Pixomondo's former Baton Rouge studio. Crafty Apes is one of the anchor VFX shops keeping post work in-state.
