Assembly Studios is a newly built, full-service studio complex within the 135-acre Assembly Atlanta mixed-use development on the former GM plant site in Doraville, owned by Atlanta-based Gray Television and operated by Universal Production Services, with NBCUniversal as anchor tenant. Phase I delivered 19 soundstages plus filmable building facades, themed exterior backlots that mimic New York, New Orleans, Tribeca and Europe, post-production services, mill and warehouse buildings, and attached production offices, totaling over 1 million square feet. It held its grand opening in November 2023 and is positioned as a flagship of Georgia's film industry. It sits adjacent to Gray's Third Rail Studios. (Note: this is Gray Television's studio operation, sometimes informally referred to as 'Gray Studios'; it is NOT operated by Great Point Studios.)
