Producers Morten Kaufmann and Signe Leick Jensen founded Toolbox Film in 2011. Before that they had produced and worked on several of the most prominent films in Danish cinema, such as Thomas Vinterbergs FESTEN (Prix du Jury, Cannes), SUBMARINO (Berlinale), THE HUNT (Cannes, Academy Award nomination) and Lars von Triers MANDERLAY (Cannes) and THE BOSS OF IT ALL. Since 2014 producer Maria Stevnbak Westergren has been a vital part of the company with a main focus on films and series for children and youth.
