4000 WARNER BLVD, BURBANK, CA, 91505

Warner Bros. Studios Burbank is a major filmmaking facility owned and operated by Warner Bros. Entertainment (a Warner Bros. Discovery company). The 62-acre main lot was originally built in 1926 by First National Pictures, which Warner Bros. acquired a majority interest in by 1928; it was variously known as First National Studio, Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Studios, and The Burbank Studios before reverting to the Warner Bros. name. By the late 1930s the Burbank lot became the studio's headquarters, which it remains today. The main lot features roughly 30 sound stages, with additional stages at the nearby Warner Bros. Ranch. The lot has hosted decades of iconic film and television production, from Blade Runner and A Star Is Born to long-running sitcoms like Friends (filmed on the stage later renamed 'The Friends Stage') and The Big Bang Theory.
