Los Angeles Center Studios is a full-service media campus at 450 S. Bixel Street in Downtown Los Angeles, built around the former Union Oil Center, a William Pereira-designed tower that opened in 1958 as the headquarters of the Union Oil Company of California (Unocal). After Unocal vacated, the roughly 20-acre site was renovated and six 18,000-square-foot, audience-rated sound stages were added, with the studio opening in 1999.
