OCTFME is the District of Columbia government agency that succeeded the DC Office of Motion Picture & Television Development, marketing and promoting Washington DC as a premiere location for film, TV, and media production. It provides permitting, location services, and production support, and maintains Production Crew Resources and Production Vendor Resources pages plus a Reel Scout locations database. Staff includes an Associate Director of Film (Herbert Niles) and a full communications and operations team.
