Hong Kong Film Services Office (CCIDA)
The Film Services Office (FSO), established in 1998 and now under Hong Kong's Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, facilitates film production in Hong Kong. It assists with location filming, maintains a location library and a production directory, and promotes the development of the Hong Kong film industry.
Filming incentives
Via the Film Development Fund, Hong Kong offers subsidies including the Film Production Financing Scheme (FPFS) 2.0 - 40% of approved budget (cap HK$10m) for films budgeted up to HK$25m - the First Feature Film Initiative (FFFI), and the Hong Kong-Europe-Asian Film Collaboration Funding Scheme (up to HK$9m per project).
