Gold Coast Film Commission (City of Gold Coast)
The Gold Coast Film Commission, launched in August 2023 by the City of Gold Coast, is Australia's only local-government film commission in the AFCI. Through the City Economy team it offers the Screen Attraction Program (local financial incentives independent of federal and Screen Queensland funding) and the Screen Access Program for local suppliers. Services include incentive advice, crew introductions, fast-tracked filming permit approvals, and pathways to state and federal screen agencies.
