Program detail
- The Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit is refundable at 30% of cast and crew wages plus other eligible in-state spending.
- Productions must spend a minimum of $300,000 per project in Ohio.
- A non-refundable application fee of 1% of the award amount, capped at $10,000, covers program administration.
- Applicants must show proof of financial ability to complete the production, including evidence of 50% financing.
- Eligible expenditures are defined by Ohio Revised Code 122.85(A)(4).
