Program detail
- 25% base credit on qualified in-state production expenditures.
- Uplifts: +10% for Louisiana screenplay productions, +5% for filming outside the New Orleans metropolitan statistical area, and +5% on visual effects spend when at least half the VFX budget is performed in state.
- A $300,000 minimum in-state expenditure applies to eligible productions.
- Credits can be transferred back to the state at 90% of face value; a 2% transfer fee makes the net 88%.
