The 600th Club Meeting is one for the record books of Valley Vettes' history to date. We have been in the local news cycle over the years, but not on such a grand scale as the National Corvette Museum provides to its 46,000 members and 360 ambassadors. Twenty six members attended Classic Mechanics presentation at their shop. They are interested in working with our club and providing expert Corvette advice and service to our members. Some of the highlights of their presentation are: They are considering having a "Corvette Corner" which would be devoted to our Corvettes. They are also considering carrying Corvette clothes and items for sale in their lobby store. They also expressed some interest in being included in some of our events. They went on to give our members a great tour of their shop and facility which held a wide variety of classic cars. Following the visit to Classic Mechanics, we enjoyed a Corvette cruise in the beautiful sun shiny weather to the Outpost restaurant in Sherwood. 20 members enjoyed the good food and socializing. Marty was good enough to take pictures of the event. Seems like everyone had a good time. The 75th annual Appleton Flag Day Parade was blessed with great weather. This year marked the 43rd year the club has participated in the parade. The 10 cars in the parade were decorated in patriotic themes and the people along the parade route let us know how much they appreciated the corvettes.
