Timber Tamers

General Car Club

The Timber Tamers are a large general 4wd club based out of Western Washington. We were organized in April of 1979, and are based out of the Lynnwood, Washington area. Our membership is diverse, from young to old, men and women, driving many different types of 4wd vehicles. We are affiliated with the Pacific Northwest 4 Wheel Drive Association and promote TREAD Lightly! principles. The PNW4WDA organizes trail runs, trail maintenance in conjunction with DNR, races, play days, fun days, clean-ups, charitable works, legislative issues, etc., in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. To promote family 4 Wheeling in an ethical and responsible manner, and to put the safety of our members and public above all else. To provide community service such as trail maintenance on public and private lands and work with government agencies to ensure the continued use of our public lands. To educate the public that having off road enthusiasts in our community can be both beneficial and rewarding. Timber Tamers meetings are open to anyone. At meetings we discuss current issues that are affecting the club and plan for upcoming events and runs. If you would like to join us for a run\event please come to the meeting and we would be happy share where and when the next run\ event will take place.
