Dallas Area Pontiac Association

Marque Club

The Dallas Area Pontiac Association (DAPA), founded in 1983, is an independent, non-profit car club focused on the Pontiac marquee. Although we do not have a specific “mission statement”, simply put, we are dedicated to the preservation, restoration, history, and performance of all years and all models carrying the Pontiac nameplate. Showing and racing our cars allows our members to not only display and enjoy their cars, but to interact with fellow Pontiac enthusiasts. The camaraderie formed between our members has become an integral part of our club. DAPA participates in various local car shows and cruises as well as a few out of state shows. We host the Pontiac Southern Nationals event every year, which is exclusively a Pontiac show and race event. DAPA participates in Muscle Car Club Challenge races, which take place throughout the spring, summer and fall. This is bracket racing against other car clubs in the north Texas area, which culminates in local bragging rights. We invite all who own Pontiacs, new and old, young and not so young, to come and be a part of a very special group of people.
