The Big Island EV Association (BIEVA) is a group of electric vehicle enthusiasts who actively promote the adoption of EVs on the island of Hawaii. We educate the general public about the advantages of EVs – the environmental and cost-of-ownership benefits, and superior driving experience – and address questions regarding purchase experiences, charging infrastructure, and ownership. We are dedicated to expanding electric vehicle ownership, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, and helping Hawaii achieve its clean energy goals. We are EV owners, enthusiasts, and supporters of sustainable transportation. We are here to educate everyone about the benefits of owning an EV and to help others adopt clean transportation.
