We are a Latino owned company with American values. Mounir, our owner and founder moved to Palm Beach County, Florida in his early twenties. Mounir worked as an EMT and as an ICU Technician more than 15 years before starting Palm Beach Cruisers with his wife, Claudia, in 2018. Although we've been restoring classic Land Cruisers since 2015. Claudia, our owner and administrative operations manager, was raised in Palm Beach County, Florida and graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Public Administration and worked in the health-care industry. That’s actually how these two met but that’s another story. Over the past several years importing 4x4s, especially Land Cruisers from South America has become very popular. Unfortunately, South American restorations have developed a bad rap. Many people see it as a quick and easy way to make money and end up selling vehicles that look nice on the outside but have tons of issues on the inside. Most of these importers source the vehicles in South America and outsource the restoration process to a third party without direct oversight. Palm Beach Cruisers has a restoration facility in Colombia (you’re more than welcome to come visit us when we’re working on your vehicle), and we oversee each restoration from the sourcing stage, the entire restoration process, and the export/import stage.
