The Modesto Area Street Rod Association was established in 1975 by a group of guys and gals with a common interest in classic hot rods. We all drove pre-1949 street rods and attended car shows up and down the Valley and occasionally out of state. Our organization is family-oriented with many of our children growing up in the club and attending street rod runs on the weekends. We are active in our community, promoting car events that help us fundraise for many nonprofit organizations and families in need. In 2012 we amended our bylaws and opened our club membership to all those who own pre-1973 classic cars. This change has complimented our club as there are so many 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s classics being restored. Our goal and objective is to promote and preserve interest in the classic car hobby for the next generation. The MASRA fully supports the Modesto car culture and the Graffiti Summer events. In 2021 our car club was inducted into the Legends of the Cruise, Walk of Fame. We love what we do, simply having fun with classic cars.
