Spiderwood Studios
Austin, Texas(approximate location)
Spiderwood Studios is a motion picture, television, music, and animation studio located east of downtown Austin in the Bastrop, Texas area, opened in 2009 by producer Tommy G. Warren. Set on a large riverside property (roughly 164-200 acres along the Colorado River), it is one of Texas's largest privately owned studios and offers four purpose-built soundstages, production offices and suites, makeup rooms, a film vault, and an RV park. It is distinguished by the only groomed-for-production backlot in Texas, featuring period and modern cabin sets along the river. The studio was acquired by Spark River Entertainment in 2022, with expansion plans for new soundstages including LED 'volume' wall technology. It serves film, TV, music video, and commercial productions.
