Illumination Dynamics (ID) is a lighting, grip and mobile-power-distribution rental and services provider with locations in Los Angeles and Charlotte. Founded in 2001, it is a subsidiary of Camera Service Center (CSC), the largest full-service film equipment rental company in the U.S. and part of the ARRI Group. The Charlotte facility includes a state-of-the-art prep operation and a camera department, and serves motion picture, television, special-events and sports-broadcast markets. It is one of the three major equipment companies anchoring Charlotte's crew base.
