Nims Center Studios is a film and television production studio in New Orleans (Harahan), Louisiana, operating since 1999 as a division of the University of New Orleans Foundation; it describes itself as the only non-profit film studio in Louisiana. The nearly 100,000-square-foot facility includes five stages totaling more than 50,000 square feet, four green screens, 45 production offices, editing suites, a mixing room, and sound and film equipment. It also offers over 10,000 square feet of climate-controlled costume and laundry facilities, props and set-dec storage, lock-up cages, cast dressing rooms, and a green room, plus post-production and ADR services. Revenue generated by the Nims Center supports the UNO Foundation and the development of future filmmakers through workshops and internships.
