Cinespace Atlanta is a 35-acre campus with roughly 357,000 square feet of production space across about 13 active soundstages, including three newer purpose-built stages of about 20,000-21,000 square feet each, located minutes from downtown Atlanta. The lot opened in 2010 as EUE/Screen Gems Atlanta, one of the pioneering purpose-built studios that launched Georgia's modern film boom, and was acquired by Cinespace in September 2023. Cinespace, founded in Toronto in 1988 by Nick Mirkopoulos and still family-owned, is one of the largest independent studio operators outside Los Angeles, with major facilities also in Chicago and Toronto. The Atlanta lot is known for hosting blockbuster franchises such as The Hunger Games and Netflix's Stranger Things.
