Raleigh Studios Hollywood, located on Melrose Avenue across from Paramount Pictures, has been active since 1915 and is one of the oldest continuously operating studios in the country, with early work by Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Mary Pickford on its grounds. The lot has roughly 13 soundstages and was the filming home of two Best Picture Academy Award winners, The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) and In the Heat of the Night (1967), as well as television series including Dallas, Cagney & Lacey, and Newhart. The studio is owned by an affiliate of Hackman Capital Partners and managed by The MBS Group. It remains a full-service independent production facility offering stages, production offices, and post-production support.
