Dr. Edward F. Group III, DC was born in Houston, Texas to Joan, a stay at home mom, and Edward Group Jr., a chemist. As a child, Dr. Group, DC excelled at sports and was an avid soccer player. He even led his team to victory at the Texas State Championships. After his father’s job transfer, young Edward spent his middle and high school years in Louisiana. It was during this time that he developed a profound love of camping, hiking, and the outdoors.
