Refuge is an award-winning visual effects and animation studio founded in 2013, headquartered in Portland, OR with additional locations in Vancouver BC and Los Angeles (and further US expansion). The Emmy Award-winning studio specializes in photoreal characters, creatures, and imaginative environments for film and television, while also delivering invisible work such as matte paintings, set extensions, digital face replacements, and cleanup. Services include animation, fluid simulations, and compositing. The team is known for close-knit collaboration and cinematic visual artistry.
