Kap2ure is an Emmy Award-winning film production company and creative agency based in Baltimore, Maryland, described as Latina, queer-owned, with two studio locations in Baltimore. Founded by Katie Simbala, the company specializes in film production, music videos and documentary filmmaking, focusing on profound, intimate and authentic stories. It launched its first photography studio at Crown Industrial Park in Highlandtown in 2021 and, supported by a Maryland Project Restore grant, opened a second studio at the Baltimore Pumphouse in 2022. It has collaborated with industry partners such as Amazon, Netflix and HBO.
