Sunrunners Car Club

The first event held by the club was a car show and potluck dinner with the Over the Hill Car Club of San Diego, Ca. as our guests, followed by a cruising tour of the Imperial Valley in February 1984. The late Frank Barros and Jerry Womack were the chairmen on this event with an expected attendance of 75 cars. This event has evolved in to the Sunrunners annual Carne Asada Run held in March of each year.
